Friday the 13th has always been a busy day in Deep Ellum because of the legendary Elm Street Tattoo marathon!
The first Friday the 13th tattoo marathon was hosted by Elm Street Tattoo was in 1996. The 24-hour event has been held every Friday the 13th since. It has grown from a wild free-for-all to a record-setting event where nearly a thousand people line up to get tattooed in one day. If you believe that a “13” tattoo will ward away bad luck, this is the place to be.
For $13 plus a mandatory $7 good luck tip, you can choose from a flash sheet of Friday the 13th tattoos and join the thousands who have been a part of this Deep Ellum tradition!
Walk-ins will be accepted from 12:01am-11:59pm at Elm Street Tattoo! For more information about the particulars of the event, visit Elm Street Tattoo’s website, and may your Friday the 13th be filled with good fortune and hopefully a tattoo as well!
