There’s a new spot in Deep Ellum for your party headquarters: PartyGeenius. If that seems familiar, it’s because you recognize the similar name PaperGeenius, which is what this business was when it started in the Dallas Farmers Market.
But now it’s expanded by moving to Deep Ellum, making a quaint spot bright, airy and fun on the eastern part of Main Street.
Barbara Gee started the company in 2015, initially as an online stationery and greeting card store before expanding to an all-inclusive party store.
Inside you can find anything to take your experience up a notch: Whether that’s a big party that needs a celebratory balloon display, or you just want to make a night in that much more special. For the Fourth of July, it’ s already prepped with all the cups, plates, straws, tassel banners and more you could want.
The plates alone are worth going through: If you’re experimenting with a new dish and unsure of just how good it will be, you can at least make the setting more festive with a pop of color from a plate you don’t have to wash. You can also jump in if you need to get a last-minute card for someone’s birthday, baby, etc.
The balloon bar is where you can really have some fun. Once you do a party with a balloon garland, you’ll wonder how you ever celebrated without one.
PartyGeenius is already getting into the neighborhood — having been part of the Deep Ellum Wine Walk and collaborating with the new Federales.
