Welcome to Deep Ellum’s all-day gathering spot, the Backyard! Our Business of the Week is all about creating a fun atmosphere where you and your friends (and your dog) can pass the day away with games, food, cocktails, and all-around good times. 

Opened in 2018, the Backyard is one of the largest spots in the district and they certainly make great use of all their space! The indoor/outdoor, pet-friendly space replicates the feel of a backyard party or tailgate and almost everything in the space feels tailor-made for enjoying a gameday. With 45 TVs, ping pong tables, arcade games, cornhole, jenga, and more, watch your favorite team with plenty to do during commercial breaks! 

On top of being a gameday destination, the fun keeps going in the off-season too! Stay up late with DJs, live music, and plenty of entertainment that keeps the Backyard busy well after the sun goes down. Like any all-day affair, you can be sure to eat and drink to your heart’s content with their many food and drink offerings – such as nearly 50 beers on tap, plenty of cocktails, and shareable food favorites like nachos, wings, and dips.
