Are you tired of going somewhere overpriced, too formal, and stuffy to get a good steak? One of Deep Ellum’s newest businesses is here to change the idea of what a steakhouse can be!
CheapSteaks made its debut in Deep Ellum this August and has already made a mark on Elm Street with delicious eats, drinks, and live music. From the team behind The Free Man and The Foundry, the idea behind CheapSteaks was to bring a great date night spot, minus the huge price tag and pretension, to Deep Ellum.
The menu is full of steak house favorites like Filet Mignon, Hanger Steak, NY Strip, and Atlantic Salmon with the most expensive meat only coming in at $23. The sides cover all the bases with baked potatoes, charred broccolini, and truffle fries being some of the most popular options. You can’t enjoy a steak and truffle fries without a cocktail, so CheapSteaks took care of that with a full bar that covers all of your favorite drinks!
If the food and drink isn’t enough to get you excited, then the live music will get you there! Almost every night of the week, CheapSteaks has live music including jazz, rock, funk, open mics, and everything in between. So come as you are, no suit or fancy clothes needed, and gather with friends for a great cut of meat and great times!
